All three Senior XIs won yesterday (22nd), some more emphatically than others!

If not of high quality throughout, the 1st XI’s 1 wicket defeat of Dafen at HQ must surely go down as one of the most nail-chewing close encounters of all time!
Nutshell = Dafen recovered well from being 32-6 (!) to post a teatime total of 181-9.
MCC 6-1, 132-7..then won in the 46th over after last pair Kaesh Vigneswaran (23no, 2 fours) and Jack Straw (2no) kept their heads to inch home!
MoM was Captain “Noddy” Norman with his priceless opening knock of 67 (7 fours & a six), and his opening burst of 3-13 earlier. It took the outfield catch of the season to get rid of him as the 8th wicket to fall.
Kaesh was not far behind, having also taken 3 wickets with the new ball. An incredible match which could so easily have gone either way, until Kaesh smashed his final cover drive for 4 to win!
At Ynystawe, our 2nd XI saw off the home side by 53 runs (255-7 v 202 all out) whilst our ‘A’ XI won by a similar margin at Murton. MCC 196-7 v Llandysul 146 all out with 6 overs remaining.
