The 2011 Macmarathon Gower Walk has so far raised £92,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Mumbles Cricket is proud to support this magnificent annual event and delighted to be the host at Marespool for the almost 1,000 walkers who recover and celebrate finishing at the ground with their families and friends.
Many congratulations to all those who took part and well done to all the Mumbles Cricket players and members who walked to raise money. And for the fourth year running, thanks to the dozen or so Mumbles Cricket volunteers who prepared and managed the facilities in the week before and throughout the day.
Special mention to Team Owain and Friends of Jane Sykes who raised more than £11,000 – a truly superb effort from club stalwarts including Allan, Mike and Gareth Baglow, and MCC Vice-President Paul Sykes.
