If you thought that 1000 folk walking over 23 miles round Gower in September 2011 and raising in excess of £93000 was a great effort, what about the extraordinary achievements of the 2012 gang??!!
Macmillan have now confirmed that over £103000 has been gathered so far!!! Magnificent!!
As part of our ongoing role within the community, the Club is just so proud to be involved in this Annual Fundraiser for such a worthy cause.
This year’s Macmarathon takes place on Saturday, September 7th.
Yet again, the Walk will end at Marespool,where walkers and their supporters reunite to celebrate their efforts! Although extremely hard work for the organisers, helpers from the Club on the day and of course the brave walkers, including several from MCC, this is a great occasion and an atmosphere at the ground that is not bettered throughout the year.
