After many years beavering away both in her own kitchen and in that of the Club, Jen Rees has made her final sandwich “for the lads” and has hung up her pinny for the last time.
Jen has been an integral part of MCC life for hundreds of matches, be they 1st XI, 2nd XI, Junior games, Wales Minor Counties’ games, Wales Ladies’ Minor Counties games, Wales Under 17 games, cup finals, touring games etc etc. In addition, she was never too far away from the action at many a club social!
Many people have been greatly missed over the years when they have chosen to retire or move on but it is hard to imagine anyone more so than Jen will be – her contribution to the matchday running and success of Mumbles Cricket cannot be adequately quantified.
So, a huge “thanks a bunch” goes to Jen for all that she has done for us all…you’ll be welcome at the Club at anytime!
