Message from MCC Stalwart & Life Member, Allan Baglow –
On Saturday 13th September 2014, the Annual Macmillan Round Gower Walk of over 22 miles (Macmarathon) takes place with 1,100 walkers finishing at our Club, sore but happy!
We have again entered TEAM OWAIN with 20 people walking in memory of my late nephew, including club members Stuart Seaton, Gareth Jones, Rhys Parry, John and Marcia Blyth, Mike and Sue Baglow, Gareth Baglow and myself.
The Macmarathon is a major fund raising event for Macmillan Cancer Support, and in recent years each walk has raised in excess of £100,000. TEAM OWAIN alone has raised nearly £11,500 over the last 3 years!
